RWTH Latex Theme

This is a simple latex theme for beamer presentations which adapts the design of the RWTH website. Please see the example.tex file within the download package for information on how to include the theme.

I updated the theme. The following things have changed:

  • Math symbols are now rendered in a serif-font fixed
  • The repository now contains a build script new

I updated the theme. The following things have changed:

  • when using itemize within a block environment, the spacing was broken fixed
  • the different block types(default, example, alert) look different from eachother now new
  • the totally available width was increased new
  • further tests were added to the example.tex file new

Color definitions

The style defines some colors which you can use in your presentation, too. The following table shows the colors and their names within the latex file.

Commands

These commands are defined by the theme.

Command Arguments Description
\RWTHtitle Inserts the title frame.
\RWTHtoc The frametitle The command must be issued at the beginning of the documents. It makes the table of contents appear when starting a new chapter. The new chapter is highlighted.

Language

The theme's default language is german. To change it, you will have to modify the following line at the beginning of the style file:

\usepackage[ngerman]{babel}

Encoding

The theme sets the encoding to UTF-8. I strongly recommend you not to change the encoding.
